Sims 3, Unable to start game, Service initialization failed (0x039e8474) Keep's crashing! HELP!!?

I have Sims 3 World Adventures. I decided to do a update software for the first time and now whenever i click to launch, it crashes immediately! I can't get it to start up! HELP!! Thank you!
