Plz help ...should i Take G.R.E? will reputed universities like Stanford ,Harvard ,MIT will accept me ever .?

Can i go for Stanford or M.I.T like colleges thru GRE with 5 years of B.Tech in C.S and several backlogs which are all cleared while doing my BTECH ...& with three years of gap after graduation while searching a job?
