Can you get pregnant even if you have your period?

my boyfriend and i had sex about two days ago. it was simply a drunken mistake and i regret it so much but i don't need the lecture, please. i got my period today so i was really relieved, but than my sister told me that i could still get pregnant, because the unprotected sex was only two days ago, is this true?
